What is Pipedrive MCP?
The Pipedrive MCP server gives AI agents access to your Pipedrive CRM. That means agents can search and read deals, contacts, and organizations, create and update records, move deals through your pipeline, log activities, write notes and comments, manage projects and tasks, and read synced email threads. It covers the full sales workflow across deals, contacts, organizations, activities, projects, and notes.
If your team spends time copying deal details into spreadsheets, updating contact records by hand, chasing activity logs, or assembling pipeline reports every week, an AI agent can take over much of that busywork. Describe what you need, and your AI agent will handle the CRM updates for you.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s an open standard that gives AI agents a way to connect to external tools and services. Instead of writing code against the Pipedrive API, running an OAuth flow, and handling token refresh, pagination, and rate limits yourself, you connect your Pipedrive account once. After that, you can manage your sales pipeline just by chatting with your AI agent.
Pipedrive MCP use cases
Inbound lead intake for SDRs
When a new lead lands, a Gumloop agent can search Pipedrive for an existing person or organization, create the records if they are missing, open a deal in the right pipeline stage, and log a first-touch activity. SDRs start the day with a clean, deduplicated pipeline instead of manual data entry.
Pipeline hygiene for account executives
An AI agent can list deals that have not moved in a set number of days, pull recent activities and notes for each, and update stages, owners, or next-step dates based on your rules. AEs keep their forecast accurate without spending Friday afternoons grooming the board.
